View actual letter (PDF)I want to take a minute to congratulate you and your team on the completion of the lobby and first floor panels for the Amazon.Com Phase IV project. It was a long process from our first conversation to the final product but our collaboration was creative, informative and ultimately a mutually rewarding experience delivering a LEED Gold building.
Callison has a team of highly respected designers that creatively innovate and continually strive to use materials in new ways. An overriding design concept from the beginning was to incorporate raw materials in the lobby to mimic those that helped forge Amazons corporate climate and the use of wood and concrete panels was to be the focal point. Early in the design and pricing process it was determined that the weight and sheer cost of concrete in the installation was outside the scope of the project budget. My job as project architect for the interiors was to provide construction documents for the detailing and materials of the lobby interiors, bringing the designers concepts to completion within the budget.
My first interaction with you was to share the concept of the concrete panels and their detailing and to seek out a way to reduce their weight and cost of fabrication and installation. From the start you and your team understood the concept and provided extremely beneficial suggestions for the 3-dimensional utilization of GFRC 'Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete' panels instead of standard reinforced concrete panels. The high strength and lower weight of these panels reduced the cost of the installation to within budget requirements. Also of extreme importance was the desire to maintain tight tolerances between panels and a high level of detail not only on flat panel faces but on panels that wrapped corners while maintaining a seemingly random pattern. We• were able to succeed in all of these areas by utilizing your knowledge, expertise, and artistry.
When I accompanied the designer through the completed project he was genuinely thrilled with the exactness of the final product and how it completely incorporated his earliest design concepts and brought them to fruition. You should be extremely proud of this high praise.
I truly look forward to our next collaboration and will not hesitate to recommend Absolute ConreteWorks in the future when looking for new and innovative ways to incorporate architectural precast panels or GFRC in projects in which I am involved.

The Concrete Fireplace that they constructed is the centerpiece of our waterfront home. Absolute Concrete Works did the job on schedule and on budget. Every time I sit in front of it, pondering ideas for my writing, it provides the perfect inspiration.
I wanted to take a minute to thank you for your team's hard work crafting the Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete cast balconies for a recent project.
Your team went the extra mile to make sure all prefabrication questions were carefully considered and answered. Your work product was delivered on time and within budget making it a good experience for all of us.
Since this was our first experience with GFRC, we wanted to comment on how much lighter it is than standard concrete. This made installation easier and faster than anticipated. Your ability to match and then reproduce the color specified made our job easier.
Thank you again for an excellent job and we look forward to an opportunity to work with you and your team again in the future.
Dear Steve Silberman,
It has been a pleasure for Metropolitan Contracting to work with Absolute ConcreteWorks, LLC. on the Rain Fitness project. This was a large and challenging project at the Westlake Terry East building, a Vulcan property in South Lake Union. Absolute ConcreteWorks, LLC. provided attractive concrete countertops for the locker rooms and restrooms at the Rain Fitness gym. We appreciate the large sample pieces that were hand delivered to our offices so that the client could select a finish. When manufacturing challenges arose, Absolute ConcreteWorks, LLC. provided helpful solutions. Absolute ConcreteWorks, LLC. delivered on our tight scheduling requirements. Thank you for your contribution to the completion of this important project.
This email serves as a letter of recommendation for Absolute Concrete Works.
Last spring we were contracted to build a fountain plaza for the NW Hospital which had a pre-cast concrete radius bench around the perimeter of the pool. Water features are not usual projects in our typical scope. We found out early on when soliciting for bids that it would be a challenge to find some one capable of performing the work to our high standards. Fortunately for us we found Absolute Concrete Works.
Providing typical to high end or specialty stone and pre-cast concrete work is apparently their forte. They came to our offices and gave a presentation to our Principals and Project Managers to provide better familiarity of their product. This type of hands on and can do customer service and the quality of the craftsmanship is what impressed all that attended the presentation. During the construction process they worked seamlessly with our site Superintendent to meet our rigorous timeline. Their company consistently set the bar for quality control and customer service when on site. They were proactive in working with other trades and contacting us to ensure any discrepancies were handled in a timely manner. Fortunately, there were little to no discrepancies to be had. They consistently exceeded our standards.
Foushee and Associates, puts a high emphasis on developing long lasting relationships with our customers. This would not be possible with out such stand out and professional vendors as Absolute Concrete Works. We look forward to the next project that we are able to utilize their expertise.
Don't hesitate to call me with any questions.

ABSOLUTE’s work was first class and met all of the City expectations. Delivery was on time and within budget. As a Senior Project Coordinator for the City of Seattle Parks and Recreation Department if I have a need for ABSOLUTE’s services again I will not hesitate to ask them for a price quote.
